Kankatala is committed to delivering your orders in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety throughout the process. From the moment your order is processed, packed, and shipped, we prioritise meeting your expectations with care and precision.


Below is a detailed explanation of our shipping policy to help you understand our procedures and guidelines.


Free Shipping within India


There are no shipping charges for all orders within India.


Shipping Charges on International Orders


At Kankatala, we offer free international shipping for orders above ₹25,000/-. For orders below ₹25,000/-, a nominal shipping fee of ₹1,500/- is charged for the first saree and ₹500/- for each additional saree in the same order.


Shipping, if any, would be according to the size of the basket. For very voluminous orders, we may charge an oversized packaging fee so that the basket efficiently and safely reaches the customer with all items in it.


Domestic Shipping Timelines


For orders within India, shipping timelines are largely regulated by state government guidelines. Delays may occur if local lockdowns or other restrictions are in place, which are beyond Kankatala's control. We aim to deliver within 5 to 7 working days from the date of order, but we will keep you updated on any unforeseen delays.


For orders that include additional services like pico or blouse stitching, an extra 5 to 7 working days will be required to process the request. If you have a specific delivery date in mind, please inform us, and we will do our best to meet your timeline.


International Shipping Timelines and Customs


For international orders, deliveries typically take 8 to 10 working days. Please note that additional charges, including VAT, import duties, and local taxes, may apply depending on the laws and regulations of the destination country. These charges will be payable by the customer at the time of delivery, directly to the courier partner. Kankatala cannot influence or control these charges, as they are governed by the local authorities of the delivery destination and vary by country.


Customers will be liable for customs charges in case of delivery outside India. Kindly note that for easy delivery of your order, we require a full and correct shipping address, PIN code, and contact information.


Reliable Shipping Partners


To ensure the highest quality in delivery, Kankatala partners with only the most trusted courier services. Our domestic delivery partners include Delhivery, FedEx, DTDC, Shree Maruti Courier, and Blue Dart. For international shipments, we work with Aramex International, DHL, TNT Express, and FedEx.


Once your product is out for delivery, you will receive an email with the tracking details and carrier information so that you can easily track the status of your order.


Address Accuracy and Delivery Delays


Kankatala is not responsible for delays due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by Customers. Kindly double-check all address details before finalising your order to avoid any issues. Additionally, while we strive for timely delivery, certain unforeseen circumstances, such as delays faced by our delivery partners, may result in delivery postponements. Though these delays are beyond our control, we are committed to keeping you informed throughout the process.


Packaging and Product Condition


At Kankatala, we maintain strict quality checks to ensure the safe delivery of your products. If you receive a package with negligence or tampering with the packing, please do not accept it. Report any damage to us immediately at hello@kankatala.com with photos.


If an order contains more than one product, we usually pack them together. If you need to package them separately, please get in touch with us with your order number. Separate packaging may incur an additional charge.


Gift Orders


If your order includes a gift and you would like us to include a personal note, please send us an email at hello@kankatala.com, mentioning your order number and the desired message. We’ll ensure your gift reaches your loved ones with the personalised touch you wish to include.


No Returns on Clearance Sale Items


Kankatala does not accept returns or exchanges for products purchased during clearance sales. We encourage customers to carefully review their orders during sales periods, as these purchases are final.
